How to Create or Update Your Body Scan
Body Scan captures your measurements and photos so Haze can personalize try-ons and recommendations.
It creates a digital body model based on:
• Gender
• Height
• Weight
• Age
• Body photos (front, side, back, and optionally face)
This data is used to render accurate previews of how clothing fits your proportions.
You must complete a Body Scan before using personalized Try Ons or First Looks.
When You’ll See Body Scan
You may be prompted to complete a Body Scan:
• After signup or login if no scan exists
• When accessing Try Ons without a scan
• From Shop (Shop 2D) by tapping the Scan icon in the app bar
• From Settings when updating your profile image
Before You Start
• Wear tight-fitting clothing
• Ensure good lighting
• Make sure your full body fits inside the camera frame
• Allow camera permissions (required on web)
Create a New Body Scan
Step 1: Open Body Scan
1. Tap the Scan icon from Shop
or
2. Complete signup/login if prompted
You’ll land on the Body Scan intro screen.
Step 2: Review Intro Slides
Swipe through the three slides:
• Body Scan overview
• Perfect Fit guidance
• Privacy information
Tap Continue.
Step 3: Enter Measurements
In the measurements overlay:
1. Select Gender (required)
2. Enter Height (choose unit: cm, ft, or in)
3. Enter Weight (kg or lbs)
4. Enter Age
5. Tap Continue
If any required field is missing, you won’t be able to proceed.
Step 4: Take Body Photos
You’ll capture photos in sequence. Depending on region, you may be asked for:
• Front view
• Side view
• Back view
• Face (optional in some regions)
For each photo:
1. Position yourself inside the on-screen frame
2. Choose a countdown (0, 5, 10, or 15 seconds)
3. Tap the Capture button
4. Select:
• Use photo to continue
• Retake to try again
After the final required photo, your scan is submitted automatically.
Step 5: Complete Shopping Preferences
After submitting your photos:
1. Select your Reason for shopping
2. Choose your Preferred style
3. Choose your Preferred fit
You’ll then move to the Profile Image screen.
Step 6: Set Profile Image (Optional)
You can:
• Upload from camera
• Select from gallery
• Skip this step
Tap Save or Continue to proceed to First Looks.
Update Your Body Scan
To update measurements or photos:
1. Go to Shop
2. Tap the Scan icon
3. Complete the Body Scan flow again
The new scan replaces your previous data.
There is no separate “edit” or “delete” button.
Camera Controls (During Photo Capture)
• Camera switch: Toggle front/back camera
• Countdown selector: Set timer (0, 5, 10, 15 seconds)
• Capture button: Take photo
• Cancel countdown: Tap capture again
• Back/Close: Exit scan flow
On web, if camera access is denied, use the in-screen prompt to allow permissions in your browser.
Tips for Best Results
• Wear tight-fitting clothing
• Stand straight and centered
• Keep full body inside frame
• Use good lighting
• Avoid loose or bulky outfits
Privacy and Safety
• You must remain clothed during the scan
• Inappropriate images are not accepted
• Face photos are optional in some regions
• Scan data is used only for fit personalization
